Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domine (Repeat)
Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in excelsis.
O come and give thanks unto the Lord, and sing of the wonders He has done: the love of the Lord God knows no end, Alleluia, alleluia!
Amidst all the hardships of this life I turn to my Saviour, Jesus Christ, who comes to deliver us from sin.
Alleluia, alleluia!
That God dwells within me I believe: to offer through life His helping hand. No longer shall fear be in my heart.
Alleluia, alleluia!
My strength and my joy come from the Lord, for He is my Saviour and my friend. May all those who love Him bless His name.
Alleluia, alleluia!
Give praise and thanksgiving to our God - the Father, the Son, and Spirit bless'd who is now and shall be evermore.
Alleluia, alleluia!
---------------------
"So longs my soul, O God,
it longs for Thee
so longs my soul.
So longs my soul, O God,
it longs for Thee
and Thy refreshing grace."
---------------
"There is treasure
in our fields,
there is treasure
in our skies.
There is treasure
in our dreaming
from the soul to the eye.
For wherever we gather,
in the light of God's grace,
and for all
whom we remember,
there will ever be a place."

The Renfrewshire Bereavement Network, comprising local hospices ACCORD and St Vincent's, as well as the Renfrewshire Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP), Renfrewshire Council and RAMH, has recently launched a new grief and bereavement service for families in Renfrewshire. The Network aims to provide support to people in the Renfrewshire area who are experiencing loss or dealing with grief - by offering access to the most appropriate advice, guidance and counselling available - all from a single point of access. People who need support will be able to self-refer by contacting a new helpline where they can discuss the help they need. After an assessment, staff who have been trained to manage calls, will aim to make sure they receive the most appropriate support for their individual circumstances. The service is available to adults in the Renfrewshire area, regardless of their gender, social group or location. Following a review of the pilot (running until February 2021) and depending upon demand, there is potential for the service to become a more permanent feature. If you know of anyone who needs to get in touch with the Renfrewshire Bereavement Network, they can do so by calling 0800 038 6020 or by emailing: support@renfbn.org.uk. For more information visit: www.renfbn.org.uk Families in Renfrewshire can seek support from new grief and bereavement service.

At every Mass, we pray for our deceased relatives and friends but, in keeping with Catholic tradition, November is a month specifically dedicated to praying for the
Holy Souls. On or near the Feast of All Souls,
a special Mass of Remembrance is celebrated in our parish for all our deceased loved ones.
As a Parish community, we commemorate our deceased parishioners in two very special and everlasting ways:
Firstly, we have a dedicated Altar of Remembrance on which a Parish Memorial Book is placed as a perpetual reminder of all our deceased parishioners. Secondly, we also wish to provide families and friends of our deceased parishioners - and benefactors - the option to dedicate individual/family Memorial Plaques which are mounted on the walls around the Altar.
A “Memorial Plaque” brochure is available on request and containing more details. We hope you share our view that St. Peter's Parish provides befitting memorials to our deceased loved ones and that you will support our endeavours.
You will be able to dedicate each plaque either to one Family, or, a maximum of two individuals. For individual dedications: the individual name(s), date(s) of birth and
date(s) of death are required. For a family dedication: only the Family surname is required.
If you wish to support this initiative, please complete the Application Form (avaialble from
Fr. Andrew) and return it with your details and payment in the envelope provided.
Each year a special Mass will be celebrated for deceased loved ones on or near the Feast of All Souls. Thank you for your support.

November: MONTH OF THE HOLY SOULS - Requiescant in Pace
November is the month of the Holy Souls, a special time of the year when we pray for deceased family, friends, parishioners and priests who have served our Parishes. Mass is offered each day for your loved ones throughout the month of November and in a special way at the Mass of Bereavement. Please remember in your daily prayers all who have died.

RETURNING to GOD
We are born in exile and die there too.
As soon as we set sail on the great voyage of life,
we begin our return.
We spend our lives dreaming
of a homeland we have never seen.
Like homing birds
that are released in a strange country,
and know no rest until they return home,
so it is with us.
When we die,
we do not so much go to God
as return to Him.
