Each year, the Church seeks
the special intercession of Mary, Mother of God, during the month of May.
During this time of global crisis - as the world deals with the impact of Covid-19 - in solidarity with our Holy Father, who established the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, as a source of protection and strength - we humbly turn to Mary, Mother of The Church, to ask for her intercession before her Son on behalf of those in need.
Pope Francis proposes two new prayers to the Blessed Virgin Mary, which can be recited at the end of the Rosary. He assures the faithful that he too will be reciting those prayers throughout the month of May, “in spiritual union with all of (us).”

Leading The Way - Praying The Rosary:
In what proved to be a "beautiful and peaceful" event, pupils and staff in
St. Peter's Primary, responded to Pope Francis' request in March - they took time out on the feast of St. Joseph (19 March) - to pray the Rosary together asking for Our Lady's intercession in this difficult time in our world when so many are adversely affected by the Coronavirus. /rosary
