At Mass, attended by all pupils and staff, St. Peter's Primary 7 pupils received the Pope Francis Faith Awards. Three pupils also achieved commendations for their work in the school and the parish. SAINTS PETER & PAUL PARISH FEAST DAY : The Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul is celebrated each year on 29th June. We will hold a joint feast day celebration each year on the Sunday before the 29th, alternating between St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s for the service and social event afterwards. This year’s celebration on Sunday 25th June began with the service at 3.00pm in St. Paul’s church and thereafter to St. Peter’s for the social event from 4-6.30pm. Parishioners of St. Peter’s took part in a sponsored ‘Walk in Faith’ from Glenburn to Foxbar beginning from the church at 2pm with all proceeds going to St. Paul’s Building Fund.
MARTIN AELRED is a Classical Tenor who performed for a number of religious leaders and celebrities over the years, as well as countless fans. His unique voice and skills on the guitar have delighted many fans locally and internationally. Martin kindly agreed to give a concert in aid of St. Paul’s Building Fund while at the same time supporting his own charity, ‘Let the children live’.
