Led By Canon Edward Cameron, Parishioners from both Parishes participated in an early morning Liturgical Service in St. Mirin's Cathedral, Paisley to honour St. Therese of Lisieux; to bring petitions and to pray for the intentions of all in both Communities.
THE RELICS OF ST THERESE OF LISIEUX The relics will be in Scotland for two weeks in September. They will be in our Diocese 14-16th September 2019. The relics will mainly be at St Mary’s Church, Greenock from the evening of Saturday 14th September until the morning of the 15th. The relics will then be taken to St Mirin’s Cathedral on Sunday 15th September until the afternoon of the 16th September 2019. Parish Visits afford the opportunity to come together as a community to pray to St. Therese. All welcome to come and pray before the relics of the “Little Flower”.
The Mass is the theme for the new season of Reflection Evenings in St. Peter’s. The first reflection, led by Carol Ann McLaren, concentrates on the Introductory Rite.
This year the Docesan Vocations Mass will take place on Tuesday 10 September at 7pm in St. Mirin’s Cathedral. Please come along and pray for vocations to the Priesthood, Diaconate and Consecrated Life in our Diocese. Refreshments available in the hall after Mass.
